The Florida State Fairgrounds offers a centrally located, well-equipped venue ideally suited for hosting large-scale public works events. With expansive paved areas and flexible outdoor space, the fairgrounds provide an excellent setting for heavy equipment operations, skills demonstrations, and competitive events. These features make it an ideal location for the APWA Florida Chapter Public Works Expo Roadeo, where operators can safely showcase technical expertise, precision, and best practices in a controlled environment.

The Fairgrounds are located at 5011 Orient Rd, Tampa, FL 33610, approximately 10 miles/15 minutes from the Hilton Tampa Downtown. The Florida State Fairgrounds are easily accessible from major roadways and offers ample onsite parking. All guests of the Roadeo should use the Orient Road Gate. Take I-4 and use Exit 6 towards Orient Rd.   Parking will be available at the current onsite rate of $12 per vehicle, payable upon entry. We will also have shuttles for registered competitors/observers available from the Hilton Tampa Downtown to the Fairgrounds.
