David Barr was just voted Entrepreneur of the Year by the International Franchise Association for 2021.  David is an investor in franchisors, in franchisees and a frequent speaker on leadership.  In recent years, David has also been a frequent speaker on Capitol Hill and has met with congressional leaders and the President and White House staff to discuss the impact of laws impacting small businesses and franchising.  Barr has been interviewed on CNBC, Fox News, Fox Business, and Bloomberg, and his experiences have been written about by New York Times and International Business Times.  David has also authored OpEd pieces for Wall Street Journal.

Tom McQueen, M.Div., Ph.D. has served as a licensed marriage and family therapist and has authored/co-authored eleven books and numerous articles throughout his career. Early in his career, Tom served as a presidential advisor on core values and family culture when invited by the President of the United States to participate in the White House Conference on Children & Youth. In the healthcare industry Tom collaborated with the BayCare Health System in the Tampa Bay area to implement a coaching process for over 600 managers. Most recently, McQueen and Major General Karl Horst (US Army – RET), past President and CEO of the Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation, wrote and published Common Sense Leadership and Common Sense Engagement, two books that are being heralded as “must-reads” for leaders nationwide.

Major General Karl Horst retired from the United States Army on October 1, 2013 after more than 37 years of enlisted and commissioned service. During that time, he had the privilege to lead Soldiers at every level of the military, at home and around the world, in peacetime and in combat. In his last assignment on active duty he served as Chief of Staff for U.S. Central Command at MacDill AFB, Tampa. His last command assignment was as the Commanding General of Joint Force Headquarters National Capital Region and the U.S. Army Military District of Washington. Upon retirement, General Horst followed an atypical career path and went into the automobile industry where he was a General Manager in a large automotive group. Following his passion as a leader, he founded KNHorst and Associates, LLC that provides consulting support to clients interested in reinforcing ethical behavior and strong positive leadership attributes. General Horst authored the book “Common Sense Leadership,” with ten leadership lessons learned during his time in the military. While he lectures about ethics and leadership, he also leverages his experience from the Middle East, lecturing on U.S. National Security challenges influenced by the geo-political and religious challenges of the Middle East and the Levant. From June 2018 to March 2020, General Horst served as the President and CEO of the non-profit Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation. Presently, General Horst provides strategic consulting support to Harmonic International, LLC which co-authored U.S. Cyber Command’s Defend Forward and Persistent Engagement strategies.

Robert Horry

Robert Keith Horry is an American professional basketball player. Because of his clutch shooting in important games, he is known as "Big Shot Rob". This name is a play on the nickname of fellow former Laker "Big Game" James Worthy. In his playing career, Horry has won seven NBA championships: two with the Houston Rockets, three with the Los Angeles Lakers and two with the San Antonio Spurs. Horry is currently a free agent. Horry collected his seventh championship as a member of the Spurs in 2007. He is one of only nine players to have won seven or more championships in the NBA, and the only one who did not play on the 1960s Celtics. Robert Horry is one of only three players to win multiple NBA Championships with two different teams in consecutive seasons. In 2005, he joined John Salley as the only players to win NBA rings with three different teams.

Those efforts were enough to land Tampa among the Top 5 Total Revenue, Top 5 Move Revenue Per Pop, and Top 5 Junk Revenue Per Pop along the way. Dan’s leadership was also able to land the Tampa location on the Inc 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies for 4 consecutive years running.
