Lace up your shoes and prepare for some sun, sand, and stimulating conversation at the APWA 2024 Expo Beach Walk. We'll be hitting the beach for a scenic picturesque walk from the Daytona Grande to International Speedway Blvd. – a refreshing 4,600-foot stretch (one way) taking you past the lively bandshell, iconic boardwalk, and majestic pier. Turn around at the ISB Beach Ramp and enjoy the ocean breeze on your way back to the Daytona Grande. This walk is your chance to connect with fellow APWA members in a relaxed, informal setting while soaking up the morning Florida sunshine.

What to bring: Comfortable shoes for walking on sand, sunscreen and a hat, your friendly smile and networking spirit!

This session is open to all Public Works Directors, City/County Engineers, or Utility Directors no matter the size of the city/county. You don’t even have to be a member of APWA to participate. Every Public Works Director in the State of Florida is invited to attend these Roundtables. If for some reason you are unable to attend and would like to designate someone else to participate on your behalf, instruct them to answer yes they are a Public Works Director, Utility Director, or City/County Engineer, and make sure to select “Attending” for the Public Works Director Roundtables in the Registration Form. We hope you will join us and thank you for your consideration.
